[Music] [Applause] [Music] this is not a conference this is the first time we've had a hackathon at this scale in our country we've never had something like this before here there's a lot of great ideas going around it's really cool to see them already building it out so quickly the energy has been vibrant the sponsors are amazing the food's been great just meeting all the Hackers from all over the world the energy seems pretty focused just a bunch of nuds getting it on you know we always try to keep a very open mind about what projects we want to see people build today is a blast to be here I see a lot of haers all around here I see a lot of great moods uh and people want to break [Music] boundaries gotten to hear a lot of great project ideas from hackers what I like to see is the most creative ideas the ones I haven't thought of before you know everyone is super helpful and just a very inclusive community U not every crypto Community is created equally there's a lot of like d stuff but I think with ethereum we've always been you know for the People by the people and people are really trying to make an impact in the world the firsttime hackers I would say the best thing you can do is ask questions whether they are another hacker someone who's volunteering one of the mentors one of the partners all of them are here to help the last days I've already met so many people everyone's just like catching up and collaborating surprised that you're giving me your Alpha and I'm getting to burn it it's good when we decided to host an event in Sydney our goal was to attract and bring together all the people who were curious about learning what's happening in we 3 that has decentralization permissionless and Freedom At Its core it's it's a good opportunity you can really talk to people awesome uh awesome [Music] experience there's so many talented people here some of them have certain specialities over others and uh by working together I think you can come up with a better project and have a better chance of you know winning prices my journey personally started with hackathon and my favorite part of the event is definitely the fun we have here there are a lot of people here from different backgrounds some people are very deep into it and some people are newer man when the time went on I was like freaking out but I'm not sleeping tomorrow it's bringing a whole lot of really cool tools together and highlighting a lot of stuff that's come up a lot in the talks hopefully we get some prizes and uh maybe we can continue building it afterwards there's been a very wide range of projects that I've seen hackers build over the last couple of days solving real world actual use cases we've seen stuff for related to humanitarian Aid new forms of payment leveraging ZK quite different to a lot of the other stuff that we've SE from you know really lightharted fun things to legitimately kind of attempts at world changing uh uh Technologies is is fantastic you know being able to spend time and listen to some of the speakers and and what they have to bring to the table the goal for E Global is to go where the smartest people in the world are not only is this a collection of the most talented Founders that are building in crypto we saw such a massive Community all the nearby region as well the best part of it was when we looked at all the submissions they were all solving problems that matter to them who saw all the trends from building something that was for fun to more more practical application whether it's for disaster relief to getting people to be more civically engaged I'm just feeling really good about like the momentum that's happening in Sydney right now and uh I hope it happens again next year [Music] [Applause]
