welcome to East Denver 2023 I'm Bernard with fluence labs and we are one of the responses for this year's hackathon super excited to be here and a more stoked that you're here with us I'm here to tell you a little bit about influence and the bounties available to you so let's just get right to it so it's a decentralized serverless platform uh with an Associated Unchained Marketplace basically gives you an alternative to centralized cloud computing platform it's just as simple as that so as a developer you basically take your business logic you compile it into webassembly you distribute these modules which we're going to call services once a link into one or more peers out of the network and then you use Aqua to compose them and uh choreograph these Services into decentralized applications and uh protocols even as part of the theme for the hackathon we want you to use this uh this ecosystem to uh eliminate one of the biggest choke points in uh in dapps a day and that's the centralized RPC endpoint we provide a starter kit for you a substrate if you will that uh has all the the programmatic trimmings if you will necessary to uh compute quorums over responses from multiple centralized RPC endpoints as well as an HTTP Gateway that Bridges to peer-to-peer nature of the fluence protocol to your HTTP URL type requirements of your web3 library wallet SDK whatever you want and to this end we have two sets of bounties one is five times one thousand usdc to basically just use that starter kit uh integrated in your dab and just see how it works for you how you deal with Quorum results there's a little bit of customization required but not much so it's really like an entry Bounty and then we have a second set of bounties which are total of UCC 6000 breaking down into three thousand two thousand one thousand to improve on the frpc starting kit uh this could entail writing a different Quorum algorithm uh dealing differently with failover uh uh introducing round robin uh kind of uh uh endpoint selection improving on the feedback collection of which RPC endpoints are reliable or unreliable etc etc so there's a lot to be done we also have at least one Workshop so check out Discord and the official announcement from the organizers and I'm looking very very much forward uh to working with you to have a great hackathon have a great event and see you all in Denver cheers
