hello everyone welcome to a quick dive into building with bercks I'm Yan and we are going to quickly cover how to navigate the bercks web application utilize bi API and finally guide you on how to quick start your project using our public GitHub repository I will start with an overview of the Barrack app showing you how to navigate and utilize its features here on home screen you will notice the general layout includes top bar with the menu the current field Price latest tip set and network selector on the right you have the application set where you can adjust language and currency access notifications and connect your wallet the home screen allows you to search for transactions blogs addresses and smart contracts if you're not sure what to search for you can start with the search examples provided below the search bar let's paste the contract address in the search bar and take a look at the page structure you will see the item you search for at the top followed by a series of tabs where all the information is grouped the smart contract page includes tabs like overview which provides a summary including the address ID balance or contract Creator all transactions display a detailed table of all related transactions mle showing pending transactions code where you can view the source code in the AI interact which allows you to directly call methods or functions of the smart contract and view the response right there and starts with visualizing activity over time next let's check the recent activity here you can view the latest tip sets transactions and contract invokes also in this category you will find a mle where you can search your transactions under insights you can see data like reach list and other rankings like top contracts by unique users or top contract by invokes uh guest consumption also here you can view mle stats with transaction type distribution guess prices and Confirmation times you can filter this by time or method berc also includes several developer tools to help with your workflow these include an address converter it transforms addresses from eum to file con format and the other way around a faet in case you need test tokens for your project contract verification tool contract interaction tool where you can invoke smart contracts by testing particular methods and guess estimator which will help you decide which guess prices to use when making a transaction additionally there are some some other tools available such as a wallet for visualizing your activity you can connect with metamask Ledger or simply trackon address in the wallet you can view your balance change accounts see your incoming outgoing and mle transactions while having the wallet connected you have the capability to interact with smart contracts now let's dive into B API that powers all these features this will help you understand how to make the most out of this API let's start with one of the end points like account with comes you can retrieve the balance or detailed information about the specific address this will help you track account metrics and understand the activity on the blockchain next we have the transactions endpoint this allows you to get a list of transactions and their details associated with an address tape set or block you can also retri information for a single transaction directly if you add evm to this endpoint you will see only evm related results or if you use ERC 20 you will see token transfers only the tip set endpoint returns information about a tip set given a hash or height this functionality also applies to blocks for those interested in analytics the stats end points provide statistics on various aspects such as balance evolution Contract creates over time contract invokes gas us it statistics and more it also includes data on the reach list and top contracts by invokes lastly the event endp Point gives you information about Native events for more detailed information and additional parameters about these endpoints please visit our documentation page there you will find extensive resources to help you make the most out of verc API to fully utilize the verc API you will need an access token fortunately obtaining this token is straightforward and free here's how to get yours first navigate to the ZX documentation website once there scroll down to the section labeled B API you will find an option saying get her token click on this and you will be asked to read and agree with the terms and conditions after agreeing with the terms you'll be redirected to the berck API page here you will find your token on the top right corner of the page keep this token secure and ensure you do not share this publicly to contribute our GitHub repository is open to the public here's where you can find it and what to do to get started after cloning to run the project all you need is to install dependencies initialize your Dev environment get your brick API token and put it in the environmental variables and then just run server as you may know we have a challenge with the price of the hacks hecaton this is your chance to contribute to the development of barcs the challenge is to improve barcs by developing new features and Integrations that boost user interaction and functionality we are particularly interested in advancements in the following areas for storage providers we are looking for innovative ways to display data think about widgets components or user interactions that could bring value to the platform's utility for storage providers for developers we encourage the creation of tools this could include anything from new data converters to Smart calculators on the visualization and design front there is an opportunity to either refine or revamp the user interface to make BS more intuitive and Visually appealing for the dashboard structure we are open to ideas that either tweak or completely rebuild it to offer more in-depth insights into the file con ecosystem improve data management and provide better customization options for deals integration we are interested in seeing how you can improve the presentation and interaction with deal data focusing on userfriendly interfaces and effective visualization techniques these are our main areas of interest but we encourage you to explore any Innovative idea you might have we value creativity and looking for projects that challenge the Norms of traditional block Explorer functionalities if the perx API doesn't cover all your needs for this challenge you're welcome to use mock data to ensure your project can be fully demonstrated and assessed for more details on the price and to read the full description head over to the heuton website this is a great chance to Showcase your skills learn from your peers and make a meaningful contribution to the community we look forward to seeing your innovative solutions thank you for listening we hope this helps you use BS in your project feel free to start exploring and reach out if you have any questions enjoy the heon and happy coding
