Ethereum data availability is a limited resource, even after inclusion of EIP-4844 and DankSharding. To scale Ethereum-secured services to a billion users and beyond, it is crucial to look beyond this limitation and look for solutions that enable (close to) zero marginal L1 data incurred per L2 transaction (horizontal scaling). This talk will L2 paradigms, including state-diff rollups and validiums, that can provide this guarantee.
