Pragma London 2024 Recap Video

[Music] my name is cark one of the co-founders of e Global and I am super excited to welcome all of you to [Music] pragma I've been uh always surprised by I mean both the scale of the ecosystem but also just like the sheer diversity of the people in it like you just uh go to different places um and you get to meet people from all kinds of different places all kinds of different walks of life working on different projects and who care about ethereum for all kinds of different reasons and um you know there's this thing that brings all of them together and like you know to me just like visiting the global ethereum Community is just also an amazing opportunity to just explore the world yeah I really like that like if Global creative pragma because a lot of the times what we would actually get the most out of like if Global events is just like these connections and these conversations so having like this like warm-up event just before the hackaton where you can just like connect and talk and just like brainstorm it's really great the energy here in in pragma has been great uh it's an amazing venue uh I think uh it's cool to see the the big turnout uh there's a bunch of people I met that are not actively working in the crypto industry but but are C serous and care and I think that that's magical to see first I think this is the best organized conference I've been to uh the the second part is it is so cool to see the amount of people building on a day-to-day basis on uh on evm I think we sometimes in Twitter land we under like approximate how passionate people are about uh this space and seeing this in person I'm looking forward to the hack th itself tomorrow uh is is just this like magical magical thing we've been in the space a long time so I remember going to kind of very early events and kind of the things that people were building were primitive toys and not great and Over The Last 5 Years just seeing the quality improve and also the quality of what we're bringing to developers improve is quite rewarding yeah I think it's a great event I think it's very well made and C can generally eth Global has done a great job in actually scaling up the whole ethereum Community I'm actually very impressed by it so I the energy was very good and vast majority of the people there I think were focused on what they can build and how they can make something worthwhile which is a it's a great rare thing to have a group of people like that in one place so I think it's great oh it's great it's a really energetic uh place it's a great venue um and it's really it's been a while since I've been to one of these and it's really good to see everyone so engaged about building it's definitely very well attended very high energy I think the variety of talks is good as well and I think it's interesting that you know we're going Beyond kind of money here and it's really nice to see kind of more emergent use cases for crypto which go beyond the kind of standard like Financial um prot C
