All right, next up we have Kai Gomez, founder of Claus of Swarm. Um, building natively multi- aent systems. Let's welcome Kai to the stage.
Hello everyone. Uh, thanks for having me. Uh, my name is Kai. I'm the founder of Swarms. Uh we're essentially one of the first ever multi-agent frameworks.
And uh today I want to show you uh how we built uh basically a much uh simpler but also slightly superior version to openclaw. And uh we did that uh by using a couple different things. Uh first we made it natively multi- aent. And um so if I go here on the GitHub um so there's a couple things that we wanted to showcase. We we essentially wanted to build a very lightweight uh reproducible version of OpenClaw.
Uh but instead we made a couple architectural changes. Uh the first one is which uh we decided to make um uh clawwarm natively multi- aent. So we would essentially uh decompose very specific task or activities into multiple agents. For example, uh some agents have the ability to search, some agents have the ability to trade, uh some agents even have the ability to launch tokens. And uh the director agents will essentially call uh these worker agents and uh that way you could distribute uh the capabilities amongst a vast array of agents instead of just having one agent that uh does everything.
So um yeah uh we built a claw swarm with our main framework in Python. uh it's called swarms and uh yeah you could essentially build agents very easily you can give it names uh you can make it fully autonomous you can give it tools MCP servers x42 uh servers and uh yeah we essentially just wanted to build a simple uh 5 megabyte version of openclaw and and uh claws form the the way that it works is um we take in inputs uh from a bunch of different messaging apps such as telegrams slack etc. And uh to ingest this data, we don't use web uh websockets like uh OpenCloud does. We use gRPC. GRPC is just generally much more reliable and more secure and also even faster than websockets.
So uh a lot of the security issues from open claw stem from using websockets and uh we decided to just eliminate that issue completely by using gRPC and then uh basically it'll go to the director agent then this director agents will then go ahead and call uh the worker agents that is most relevant uh to the tasks. So um yeah it's still like pretty early but you can get started by uh pip installing clause form. We're now working on a TypeScript version of this. And uh yeah, the the whole purpose of Clawform is to basically like show you how you would build a version of OpenClaw or something like OpenClaw uh very easily in less than like 2,000 lines of code. And um yeah, so we can go ahead and show this uh so is that bigger?
Cool. Uh yeah, so you just do pipet 3 install claws and then it should be on your computer and uh to basically run it uh once you jig clone the repo uh you have to start up the uh the gRP server to start ingesting data and uh you can start like customizing adding the tools and things like that. Um so we just run this we run the the run uh shell command and uh once we do that the messaging uh gateway will start and uh the the directory agent will be set up and then it could start uh taking tasks. So you be like, "Hey, how's it going?" And uh yeah, so if you're essentially looking to like uh orchestrate um different types of of agents, not only just OpenClaw um but other agents as well or even build your own improved version of OpenClaw, uh you could use the swarms framework.
Um we're mostly in Python, but we have a Rust package as well. So you could if you wanted to build like some frequency high frequency trading application or anything that requires like extreme performance you could use our uh rest framework as well and uh our main website is swarm.ai AI and so you could check out our various different uh developer tools there and uh yeah um class form is is still pretty early. Uh we built it in like two days. It was pretty pretty easy and um it shows like how like just how simple it is to build something like open claw uh with our framework.
So yeah, if you're if you're in the hackathon and you would like uh technical assistance in any way, uh you can let us know and uh yeah, if you want to try claws form as well, uh you know, go ahead and pip install it and uh let us know how you like it or what we can improve. It's still again very very early. We built this in like two days. Um but uh yeah so yeah uh thank you for your time and uh if you wanna uh get the GitHub we'll have a QR code. So let me just figure out how to make this bigger.
Here's the uh QR code for the Clausworm GitHub. So yeah, you want to check it out. Um, if you want to build your own custom agents or integrate uh open claw or codeex or cloud code, you could use uh the swarms framework. Uh, again, swarms.ai.
And uh, yeah, thank you and uh, let me know if you need anything. I'm I'm here for you. Thank you.
