[Music] [Music] okay good afternoon everyone I'm y from De learning yeah it's a fantastic to be here to share our journey of building de learning and hope our three years building experence could offer you some inspiration to build your local eering community yeah is pensioning with limited or even no startup funds my presentation we cover three AOS the learning introduction and its main components then and we work through our community governance the rules that keep us organized and collaborative finally and will show how we get grants in web stre ecosystem and how we allocate our funds to support our community groups since the last Devcon in po I have introduced de learning in detail so this time I just quick recap the introduction on the left side is our community relevant data we are designed for developers to step into blockchain dep development where they can learn Define ND St and cital projects we help we could not only give Junior developers a feasible and easy to use dep learning road map but also present Advanced developers with a PL for for communication communication and cooperation yeah this is our version our community is built on four components GitHub OSU translation team and website team let's start with our GitHub our initial idea was just to create a GitHub report to record our learning Trace in of dep dep development in 2021 to our surprise is one it was more popular than we expected there currently there are 80 basic test that help you to learn dep development step by step along with advanced task like nft do crypto yeah Etc now we have garnered more than 5,000 stars and nearly 200 contributors have submitted their Pro request to our repo what's more exciting our repo frequently appears on the air drop list of many web three projects next next we call it de learning open source University as many Community member can schedule a session to share web stream knowledge as long as his presentation Doc is reviewed and approved by our core contributor we were we we reward each session with 160 di through our suu we have produced a wide range of courses including a comprehensive Define learning road map and a DK introduction course uh next is translation team yeah the world of blockchain is full of over source of Temptation and the scans so it's essential for newcomers to study structured course from famous university yeah so our team have translated MIT open course blockchain and money we also translated many white paper and research reports into Chinese 2 as a local eering community we try our best to make high quality content from English word accessible to our core members next is our do governance governance are important to attract developers to build Community Trust and build a Community Trust yeah uh there are three rules interesting rules of our community they are working well rule one anyone who has submitted PR three times or has shared at least one time can join our developer group it has a s selling of 20 people we also build a community group for free communication too yeah if you want to make a advertisement in our group you should share first yeah the last part is our grant and is Grand and our fund allocation as a nonprofit organization our funding primarily comes from Grand and donations like ESP Grant and gcoin Grant in the middle term we also get support from many outstanding project teams such as optimism scroll stet c s Etc this year air drop from web St projects are also a big source of revenue for us yeah the financial modu enable us remain a techology neutral stance yeah we only focusing on eering and is L to development without any commercial bies yeah the slide show a support from okay sorry yeah this is our FAL allocation you can see yeah we set up Community grants and the web three use grants to help developers transist from Web Two to web three uh this is our recognition from the industry yeah the slide show the support from l two projects lastly let me show our sponsors yeah thanks for their support for our community okay thanks for your attention and I open to any question you may have feel free if you wanted to join us H we have a question here do you want to throw it good catch okay uh yeah thanks for your sharing and and uh I think we all know building and maintaining the community is not easy and uh that planning definitely a phenomenal success and could you tell me or share your experience about what's the biggest problem or challenge um during these years I mean in terms of Education or the management yeah that's a really good question yeah let me think for a while I think that the most challenging is the same as the most developer uh K crass 2 is the DK technology yeah as you know we have produced a course of Define learning road map I think is a good motor for developers to learn Define but we find it hard for developers to learn DK or make DK easy to understand for New Commerce so we St try our best to make a easy accessible to everyone okay okay okay thanks thank you any other questions I actually have a question for you so for your users I guess they're all geographically distributed in different places do you think um there are specific designs that is more attractive to certain group either age group group or Geographic locations do you find them uh tend to use you know the the app learning in different ways actually the same uh our users mostly from Chinese speaking AOS I see the most Chinese yeah uh uh they are the most of them are developers yeah uh because our content is more technical you technical right I see yeah yeah so yeah we try our best to make it accessible to non developers too but yeah that's okay cool thank you thank you thanks yeah okay
