I'm super excited to welcome all of you to eth Global London we have over a thousand people here in the building 700 of them are hackers from 59 different countries for us this is an opportunity for all of you to learn get help here and grow as individuals and we believe that showing is way more important than telling $270,000 in prizes to be won this weekend eth Global's got the formula down it's very simple you go to an eth Global event you know the Vibes are going to be good you know the hackers are going to be fun and you know everyone's going to have a good time the talent at e Global London is pretty spectacular we're definitely seeing some amazing Builders out today it does an amazing job at bringing together not just Builders but also the the entire ecosystem partners and so many more to really create the foundations uh for testing out new ideas and projects now I'm seeing so many designers I'm seeing artists coming in I'm seeing a real real Variety in the the profile of the hackers wow there's so many awesome hackers here from all over the world they're definitely coming in here to try to change the world and build cool things the energy at the East Global events is always amazing we set the booth up and we had people coming along to the booth like non-stop asking questions oh it's amazing I started coming to these as a hacker and so coming back as a speaker is super fun and enjoyable to kind of contribute and give back it also gives you a great place to meet people in the industry who care about the same things you care about all of it you know a lot of new startups where the co-founders themselves found each other in one of these hacker houses so it's important that you enjoy you get to meet a lot of people you get to exchange ideas the thing that I love the most is the imagination that people have uh you know people come up with all these crazy ideas of I'm going to take this technology and that technology and put it together and create this thing and and and that's what I love it's all about learning it's all about building upon the technology and kind of growing your experience I have had so many people coming up to me with their laptops showing me diagrams of what they want to build so I'm really looking forward to the submissions that we're going to get you know there's something about the organization of East global it's very well done like everyone is looked after and cared for and there there's food and there's drinks and there's space for you to kind of like just get away from the noise what were we at like 28 hours in and so late night last night it would be a super late night tonight but really exciting it is super exciting and quite a sight to see what they've shipped in like 36 hours I've been to a bunch of other ecosystem eathan before never ever I've seen that much technical ability it isn't about how much money something makes it isn't about how many pieces of the stack something uses is there an actual problem that you're solving in their own field in their own country in their own day-to-day life how can you make something better it can be very infrastructure focused it can be very application focused doesn't matter if you are convinced that this is something that the world needs go and build it it's 4:00 a.m. and you see 2,000 hackers just hacking along I think that really instills that hey there's something really big here there something like a really strong Community here that's kind of why I always come to hackathon so many hundreds of people thinking all web three coming from different backgrounds coming together in a place where they want to discuss ideas that's something rare really like we're changing the world one hack at a time
