Hi, everyone. Welcome to Prozacolberg Version 2. I'm Afri. And I'm Franzi. Just kidding.
I'm Helena. And my name is Raul. Welcome everyone to Prozacolberg. All right. So in this opening ceremony, we're just going to go through a few things.
We'll make it very quick. We know you're here to see the speakers, not us. But we're just going to briefly run through the concept, what to expect, some of the highlights. And we're also going to share some tips on how to navigate the venue, Wi-Fi, everything. So, yeah.
First, we want to talk about what is special about Prozacolberg. Prozacolberg is very special for us as part of the Department of Decentralization. But we also hope it is special for you. Prozacolberg, this year, the B2, is a two-day gathering of people from various ecosystems getting together to exchange ideas, to learn from each other, to unite protocols, to unite the ecosystems and learn from each other, rather than divided. Marketing-focused talks for Prozacolberg are out of scope here.
Prozacolberg does not feature any sponsors. And it's free from sponsor booths, sponsor talks, and anything in between. As you know, attendance is free of charge. And this is particularly an audience-centered content curation. So, we selected the talks and the workshops that we think are special, interesting, and informative for you.
So, we hope you enjoy it. And it is purely organized by volunteers on the Department of Decentralization. We don't get paid for this. We do it because we love the ecosystem. We love the technology.
And we love to see new and old friends. So, thank you all for coming. All right. So, first things first, Wi-Fi, very important. There's the QR code.
And you will also find some signs around the building, on the walls, with the Wi-Fi code. So, we have you covered. You also have the Wi-Fi on your name tag in the back, if you need it. So, whatever you need, you can find there. All right.
So, agenda and live stream. So, we have the agenda on our website, Prozacol.berlin. There's also an agenda on pre-talks, sked.prozacol.
berlin. And in that one, you can actually start the talks you want to see and filter them. So, you can create your very own personal agenda for the day. And our wonderful friends at Streamys, they're also providing the live stream, watch.protocol.
berlin. We're going to talk a bit about venue navigation, something very, very important. You have here two blueprints. The one to your left is the main hall, where you enter. And the one to the right is the first floor, where all talks are happening.
On the ground floor, you will find a place to sit down. You will find the food. You'll find drinks, the swag, the experiences we have for you, the Web3 library, the type out experience, and anything in between. You will also be able to use the whiteboards that are provided all around this floor in order to exchange and discuss ideas. If you need them, you'll find also markers there that you can use.
Feel free to use them. Feel free to join conversations and to join discussions as well. We have a middle island in between the two floors, where there are some tables where people can sit down as well. You will see there that a podcast is happening as well at the same time as the conference. These are the guys from CKAB club that are running their podcast here.
If you want to sit down with them and discuss ideas, you are very welcome to do so. On the first floor in the gallery, we ask you to be silent. All of the talks are happening on the first floor. You'll have the main stage, which is the one that you're here in Cinema 10. Then we have other talk stages, Cinema 6 and 7, and the workshop stage, which is Cinema 9.
You can also find a bar as well. And SWAG. When you come in and you register, there is a SWAG station where you can get your protocols bag. It contains no trash or plastic toys. It has a program booklet in it, a notepad, a pen, some funny stickers.
Also, we have some popcorn outside here, outside all the cinema stages on this floor. Don't forget to grab some popcorn for some of the spicy talks. Regarding communications, as usual, you can connect with other attendees, with speakers, with volunteers, and with the team on Matrix, on protocol.dod.ngo.
If you need any type of help, if you have any questions, any comments, you can find the people with the red shirts, like that, or the red wristbands. We are part of the team. Everyone from the team has the same T-shirt. So please make sure, if you need anything, to find us. And very important for us, we have a code of conduct, not only for the Department of Decentralization, but also for Protocol Verity 2.
We ask you to read the code of conduct. We are here to discuss and exchange ideas, be together, and improve what we're building. Please take care of each other. Please be safe. If you need anything, you can find us on the red T-shirts.
If you need to complain, if you don't feel safe, if there's any concerns, you can always find us, or you can find the email here in the code of conduct, in order to escalate the situation. We're hoping that will not happen. We know you. We know that you care about each other. Please be safe in the conference, and let's make it good.
All right. So, after all the talks today, we are going to have some drinks, a social mixer for everybody, down in the main hall. And that's going to start today at 6 p.m., so make sure to come down and grab a beer, and, yeah, just spend some time with your friends.
Tomorrow we have the closing ceremony, on this stage at 5.30, so don't miss it, because there you're going to learn more about the motivation behind Protocol Verge, why we do this, why we're donation-backed, why we don't have sponsors, we're a non-profit event, and why we're free to attend. So you can find out about all of that tomorrow at 5.30 here, and you'll also find out some financial insights, and, you know, we're going to break down the expenditure for this event as well. And more.
So now we're done for the day. We'll see you tomorrow again at the closing ceremony. Enjoy the day. At 10.30, the first talk will happen here on main stage, the same as all of the other stages, so you have a bit of time to move if you want to see other stages that are not here.
Jakob from the Department of Decentralization will be your emcee. On the first part on main stage, we'll have emcees all over the place, so make sure you enjoy. All right, let's go.
