Hello everyone, I'm Adam, a huge fan of spatial computing and new interfaces on how we operate with computers as well as big donuts. This is me in 2016 working on my first startup, BasementVR. It was a social VR application that I've created when I was really fascinated by the idea of of Ready Player One basements where everyone could have their own virtual reality kind of like a social profile. And I was really obsessed with all the creation tools. So that was prior to the Gravity Sketch and all the other creation tools.
Yeah, I've been trying to basically give the VR users as many different types of tools in order to express themselves and build shared profiles that they could share. This is another application that I've created. This is also a kind of a creation tool that I've built. The idea was that you could be able to create experiences in virtual reality, but then display them as augmented reality application as well on your mobile phone. So yeah that was pretty interesting and it led me to the realization that okay we have a problem.
All those creation tools are great but unless we have ability to create 3D models really easily it's very hard to really create something meaningful. So I started playing around with the idea of creating a better workflow for creating photogrammetry objects and 3D objects. So this is one of the photogrammetry family album that I've made. Yeah, you can check it out. And I've been, while I was working on that, I've been also working on different kind of approaches on how to capture the photos and how to use multiple different phones and lenses in order to capture also the animations so that we have like the one scene captured from the different angles at the very same time.
So those are some of the experiments that I've been putting together with multiple different iPhones hooked up into one rig. Yeah, I've been walking around with this gimbal with all those nine iPhones, and it was pretty fun. The results were pretty cool. I've been also working on this hardware prototype that would embed all those lenses out there. And this is a totally different thing.
This is one of my games that I've made for the Quest 3 headset. It allows you to just play a shooter. It's like a simple game with simple mechanics where you drive and just shoot the zombies that hop onto your car. This is another application of mine, simple ping pong simulator that I've built for the Vision Pro. One of the things that I want to do with maybe throughout this Lala City is to add a multiplayer mode that works.
This is another application that I've built also for Vision Pro. It's a drum simulator. It allows you to basically learn different rhythms and have fun playing drums. That's another application, a fingerboard on your desktop that allows you to use hand tracking in order to control this small skateboard. It was pretty fun to make.
And another application that I've made just very recently for the Vision Hackathon, it's Cutout Canvas. So the idea is that you generate simple 2D graphics with AI, and then you can place them into a 3D through simple interactions, hand interactions, and create beautiful sceneries all around you, just with the simple prompting and some gestures. And besides that, as my day job, I've been also working on multiple companies for different corporate VR trainings. So this is one where we've built a tri-met, like a simulator for the trains operators in order for them to learn how to operate basically the trains. And right now I'm working for Axon company as my day job.
We are making trainings for the HTC Vive on how to operate the taser weapons. And yeah, that's been really, really interesting. This is a pretty big company. We are selling a lot of those trainings right now. And it's really awesome to see VR technology being really used by hundreds of police officers every day.
And for Lana, what I was thinking about doing is to create a digital twin for the Red Dog Gallery. So this is my early attempt and Gage and Splat visualization of the Red Dog. And I'm like right now tinkering about how we can share this space so that not only people that are gathered over here, but also people from all around the world maybe could join us as virtual reality avatars so that we could share this space with their wider audience. Thank you.
