Okay, so I'm a legal scholar and an artist and an entrepreneur. And so Alias is kind of like trying to merge all of those three things into one. So Alias is a project that is trying to respond to one emerging problem that a few creatives and artists are encountering, which is the advent of generative AI that is sometimes perceived as a danger or something that will disrupt economic opportunities for artists. And the idea with Alias the Studio is to actually provide an alternative perspective and show that actually if embraced by the artists, generative AI can actually also become a source of revenues and in particular of passive revenues. And so what it is, so it's a place in which artists can come and train their own generative AI models, and then they can monetize.

So they can use those models to engage the communities, and they can monetize the output that is generated by those models. So the idea is to provide control on the way in which your work or your style is being used, as opposed to having mid-journey that people can do something in the style of. Here you can control perfectly how the model will generate works. You can certify it so that people that use the model know that it is actually a legitimate one. And then you can derive compensation.

So we have one of our ambassadors here, Chris Lucid. So how it works? Basically you upload your... so as an artist you can select a particular collection of your artworks, you can upload it on the platform and then you can train on the platform and then you can train an alias based on this and so the the system will start processing the data that you have and it's going to create a laura that will then enable you to prompt your own generative ai model so those are like example of trained aliases and then so you have like the possibility of like prompting, you have a bunch of parameters about what is the degree of influence that you want the model to have. You can have positive prompt, negative prompt, etc.

So you can kind of craft your alias in a particular manner before publishing it so that there is a degree of constraints about how authors can use this model. And then you can either keep the model internally and just use it for yourself, or you can choose to publish it. And if you publish it, you can then benefit from the legal tech. So by publishing it, you enable top parties to come into your, to explore your own alias and potentially generate works. And if they like the works, they can either mint an NFT.

And of course, the artists that publish the alias choose what is the price of the NFT. Or the artists can also choose to provide specific usages, right? So you can provide, for instance, like personal use on a website, or you can provide commercial use for merchandising or whatever you want. And you can set up either a fixed price that people can just purchase a license for, or you can say that the creator of the image needs to ask permission in order to obtain the license so that the artist has control over whether the specific output is consistent with what you consider to be is on creation and so all of you then you have You have bought like the possibility for the artist to create their own universe and then train the model and then provide this model as An alias like an assistant to the artist. And so instead of having people, clients that are commissioning a creative person to create a particular thing that they need, creatives and artists can just focus on making art and making things that they like and creating different universes.

and making things that they like and creating different universes. And then the clients get to the alias and they do spend hours and hours exploring the latent space until they find something that they like. And another thing is about providing a way for artists to actually have a new mechanism of engaging with the audience because usually the audience is kind of like experiencing more as a passive receiver of what the artist has decided to provide as creations, whereas here you can actually enter into a dialogue and like direct interaction, not necessarily with the artist, but with the alias of the artist. And so if I want to know like what would Klimt do if he had thought about drawing, I don't know, like a polar bear, then I can explore that. And so the audience kind of get into this like personal relationship with the artist by really creating customized works that are responding to what they are interested in.

And then eventually we want this to also be part of galleries. So we're working now on the process of creating a gallery page. So galleries are anyone that can host specific aliases within their page, and then they can sponsor the creation of generated content within their page, and then they can sponsor the creation of generated content within that page, and then of course they can do a split fee between the revenue that are given to the gallery and the revenue that are given to the artist, and then alias takes a little cut, of course. So yeah, that's most of it, and if anyone is interested in training their generative AI model, we're going to host a series of workshops at the Red Dogs. We had one this morning.

We might have another one tomorrow morning. Or pretty much, if you show up at the Red Dogs in the morning, we might be there, and we might be able to onboard you. But yeah, I'm very curious about, so this is a work in progress. So I'm very curious if you decide to use the platform to get any type of feedback about future requests, or interface tweaks, or whatever you like. But yeah, I'm very eager to see who wants to use that.
