Introverted - A Party Game for introverts

Transcript

Hey, what's up, y'all? I'm Jay Mill. That's my partner, Lucy. Collectively, we are BCAD, and we've been working on Introverse, which is a party game for introverts. It exists as a physical card game.

We've been working on it for a little over a year, and we just got our first print run done of about 100 copies in September. And it's, yeah, it's really to get to know people. It's got prompts, games, and objectives we've kind of collected from our travels, and it's really meant to, you know, get you into real conversations quickly. So Introverse is based around, it's different from other connection card games, it's based around six archetypes. So we have the Intuitor, Connector, Conjurer, Enhancer, Specialist, and Transmuter.

Each one has a different set of skill sets, affinity, natural habitat, etc. And then each one has a special power. So when you're playing the game, you get to choose one of these characters, and then you have access to that. And then there are 120 prompts and games that are broken up into three levels, level one, two, and three, and each are aligned with one of the archetypes. And so you play around at each level, everybody gets to play a game, and then hopefully you get to know each other better throughout the course of the game.

So it's been a journey to produce this thing. Like I said, we've been working on it for the last year or so. Here's a bunch of photos of our playtests and various communities and events and festivals. That's where we sourced most of the games from. We're doing a playtest session on Monday.

Show up if you're interested in learning how to play. It should be fun. We'll probably do a couple more throughout the course of Edge. An ask that we have is this is our first physical product that we've done so we're bad at marketing so if you've ever like marketed a physical product or know something about that or could teach us anything like we'd love to talk to you.
