Embarking on a New Chapter

Okay, thanks everyone. My name is Steven. I'm head of development of NEO blockchain. So here it's my honor to represent the NEO blockchain and our new chapter, NEOx. So many of you maybe heard about NEO.

It's a very old blockchain since 2014, and it's also the first non-EVM chain in the world. We have a number of building features like the native oracles, native FS, and the multi-language support for the programming smart contract. But from this year, we are trying to attract more EVM developers. So we built our NeoX, which is an EVM compatible sidechain. The mainnet is already launched in July and it's fully EVM compatible.

So every Ethereum-experienced developers and DApps can join the Neo ecosystem to bring their DApps on our NeoX sidechain. And we are not just EVM-compatible. We also bring some building features for developers and people. So the most important of them are the anti-MEV features. So I think the MEV, which is a big problem for the Ethereum ecosystem, and nowadays even some layer tools have this kind of problem as well, because they use centralized sequencers, and the benefits of sequencersencer is it's stable and fast, but the advantage of it is lack of transparency.

And maybe some centralized sequencer operators can utilize the sequencer to insert their transactions, to insert their benefits into the mempools and modify the sequence. And here in NeoX, which we call the NTMEV, we use the enveloped transaction. So every user can send a transaction encrypted by the public key generated by our consensus nodes. And your transactions will be enveloped. by the public key generated by our consensus nodes, and your transactions will be enveloped.

And no one can know yet, can front run yet, before it's put into the block generated by the consensus nodes. So in this way, we are fully protecting your transaction with the anti-MEV. protect your transaction with the anti-MEV. So in addition to that, we also keep other benefits of our Neo blockchain. We still keep the two token models, the Neo token and the Gas token.

And on the NeoX, the Gas token will be used, the main token for the voting, governance and the transaction fees. And we also keep our DBFT consensus algorithm, which is a one block finality. And we also bring our native bridge to bridge the token between the Neo N3 and Neo X. And we also have our Elevate program, to bring more Ethereum developers and DApps come into our ecosystem.
