Tokenising Luxury Assets at Scale | Sam Mudie, Savea | Future Finance Forum 2026

ETHSofiaOct 6, 2026

Sam Mudie, CEO of Savea, draws on more than a decade in fine wine investment to explain how luxury assets can be tokenised at scale. He argues that real adoption comes from boring efficiencies and user experience rather than ICOs, NFTs or meme coins, and that selling wine as NFTs to people with MetaMask wallets does not work. Savea's answer borrows from ETFs: physical wine held by a custodian is tokenised and wrapped into an index product for qualified investors, with access from 1,000 dollars, half the annual fees, under a quarter of the exit fees and liquidity within three to four months. He closes on a single app holding every asset, where tokenisation stays behind the scenes. Keynote at Future Finance Forum 2026, 25 September 2026, Sofia. Part of Blockchain Week Bulgaria 2026. Speaker ▸ Sam Mudie, CEO, Savea Sam is the Founder & CEO of Savea, a FinTech company building infrastructure to tokenise real-world assets and issue institutional-grade investment products. ZK Identity With No Compromises I Kevin Lin

ETHGlobalNov 9, 2025

Kevin Lin from Self Protocol presents "ZK Identity With No Compromises," introducing Self as a production-ready zero-knowledge (ZK) passport protocol focused on scalable, privacy-preserving digital identity. Self enables onboarding of the next billion users by leveraging biometric passports and government IDs (like India's Aadhaar) for secure, machine-readable, and forgery-resistant attestations. The protocol uses ZK proofs and selective disclosure, allowing users to prove attributes (e.g., nationality, age, compliance) without revealing personal data. The architecture splits registration and disclosure, ensuring anonymity and unlinkability across apps. Self employs Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) for efficient, secure proof generation, avoiding large downloads and enhancing UX. SDKs for frontend, backend, and onchain integration make it easy for dApps to verify users. Partnerships with Celo, Google Cloud, and others enable real-world incentives and use cases. Self aims to solve Sybil resistance without capital requirements, supporting global, privacy-first identity verification. 00:00 Introduction 01:01 The Challenge: Onboarding the Next Billion Users 01:24 Proof of Work, Proof of Stake, and Capital-Based Sybil Resistance 03:15 Introducing Self Protocol: ZK Passport Solution 03:48 Leveraging Biometric Passports & Aadhaar Integration 05:29 Technical Deep Dive: Biometric, NFC, and Machine Readability 06:54 User Experience: Fast, Private, Selective Disclosure 08:24 Registration & Disclosure Workflow 09:40 SDK Integration for dApps and Service Providers 10:49 Privacy Architecture: Anonymity & Unlinkability 11:17 Technical Recap: Key Components & TEEs 13:22 Proof Relaying and User Experience 14:00 Developer Bounties & Community Engagement 14:34 Real-World Partnerships & Incentives 15:41 Collaborations & Use Cases 16:16 Conclusion _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 🇮🇳 *Pragma New Delhi* Pragma New Delhi 2025 was held on September 25th at the JW Marriott Hotel in Aerocity New Delhi and was an in-person summit for builders and leaders in the web3 ecosystem. Why You Should Be Optimistic About MEV - Shea Ketsdever

ETHGlobalOct 9, 2025

Shea Ketsdever from Flashbots presents an optimistic outlook on MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) in Ethereum, focusing on the evolution of block building. She explains how block builders determine transaction inclusion and ordering, and how MEV has historically caused issues like spam and centralization. Innovations like Flashbots' MEV-G and MEV-Boost, and the introduction of Proposer-Builder Separation (PBS), improved privacy and competition but led to new centralization risks via exclusive order flow deals. The latest breakthrough, Builderet, leverages Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) for verifiable, private, and decentralized block building, enabling orderflow sharing, permissionless refunds, and multi-operator resilience. Builderet addresses centralization, improves market efficiency, and supports Ethereum’s goals of scalability, user experience, and interoperability. ENS Identity in Your Apps I Greg Skrill

ETHGlobalOct 9, 2025

Greg Skrill from ENS Labs presents on integrating ENS (Ethereum Name Service) identity into applications. ENS is a decentralized, permissionless naming protocol on Ethereum that converts complex hex addresses into human-readable names (e.g., gregskril.eth), improving user experience across web3 apps. ENS acts as a portable web3 profile, supporting metadata like avatars and bios via text records. He explains forward and reverse resolution, primary names, and recent support for L2s (Arbitrum, Base, OP Mainnet, Linea, Scroll), enabling cheaper, more flexible identity management. Subdomains and DNS integration allow for hierarchical and interoperable naming (e.g., greg.project.eth, gregskril.com). Greg highlights creative ENS use cases like Fluid Key, which enhances privacy by dynamically resolving names to different addresses. He encourages developers to replace hex addresses with ENS names, leverage metadata, and explore the ENS docs for tools and resources. Q&A covers latency, subdomains, metadata storage, Python support, identity proofs (e.g., zero-knowledge), and wallet integrations. 00:00 Introduction 00:34 What is ENS? 00:59 Human-Readable Names vs Hex Addresses 01:52 ENS as a Portable Web3 Profile 03:37 Improving User Experience with ENS 04:54 ENS as a Global Username System 05:35 Technical Overview: Forward & Reverse Resolution 06:55 ENS on L2s and Primary Names 08:00 Summary and Developer Guidance 08:23 ENS Tools, Subdomains, and Resources 09:16 ENS Hackathon Prizes and Use Cases 10:05 Creative ENS Applications: Fluid Key 10:56 Q&A: Fluid Key, DNS Integration 12:45 Q&A: Latency, Subdomains, Metadata 16:13 Q&A: Metadata, Arbitrary Data, Python Support 17:29 Q&A: Linking ENS to Emails/Phone Numbers 18:50 Q&A: Identity Proofs and Zero-Knowledge 19:53 Q&A: Smart Wallets and ENS Integration 21:42 Conclusion and Further Questions _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 🇺🇸 *ETHGlobal New York* This workshop is specifically for ETHGlobal New York, a 3-day hackathon held August 15-17, bringing together the most skilled web3 developers, designers and product builders from all around the globe for a weekend-long adventure to advance the Ethereum ecosystem!
